Overview
This paddle weighs 8.6 ounces and uses a 14.2 mm polypropylene honeycomb core with a raw carbon face. That combination gives it a substantial feel without becoming an especially thick control paddle. Its elongated 16-inch shape raises the hitting area and adds reach, while the 7.5-inch width leaves less room side to side than a wider paddle.
The 5.5-inch extended handle gives you more leverage for two-handed backhands and powerful swings. The weight and extended shape can help with stability on blocks and drives, which one rating describes as a strength. It is approved for USA Pickleball play.
Play style
Choose it if you build points with deep drives, aggressive swings, and extra reach. The heavier weight and elongated shape favor power and stability, while the raw carbon face is intended to provide a crisp response and ball grip for spin.
The longer handle also fits two-handed backhands and adds leverage. The narrower elongated profile may feel less forgiving than a wider paddle, so players who rely mainly on soft kitchen exchanges should compare it with a more control-focused shape.
Best for
- Players who want extra reach on wide defensive shots
- Two-handed backhand players who need a longer handle
- Baseline players who hit strong drives
- Players moving to a heavier paddle for more stability
- Players who want a raw carbon face for spin
Look elsewhere if
- Players who prefer a lighter, quicker paddle at the net
- Players who need the largest possible sweet spot
- Players who mainly play soft kitchen exchanges
- Players with limited comfort handling an 8.6-ounce paddle
Strengths
- The 16-inch elongated shape adds reach and raises the hitting area
- The 8.6-ounce weight supports stability on blocks and drives
- The 5.5-inch handle provides leverage for two-handed shots
- The raw carbon face supports a crisp response and spin-oriented contact

Things to consider
- The heavier weight may feel tiring during long sessions or quick net exchanges

- Players focused on touch may prefer a thicker control-oriented core
- Check the final weight because the listing allows a variation of plus or minus 5 grams
