JOOLA Stratos

The Stratos uses a polypropylene honeycomb core with a fiberglass face. Its average weight is 8 ounces, so it should feel manageable during quick exchanges and longer sessions. Reviewers describe the grip as tacky and comfortable, with vibration reduction that helps limit hand and wrist fatigue.

Its 16-inch length and 7.88-inch width create a longer, fairly narrow shape. That profile can help with reach and two-handed backhands, while the 5-inch grip leaves room for a second hand. The fiberglass face and 10mm construction give it a responsive feel, though players should not expect the same spin potential as higher-end models.

The Stratos fits a placement-first game more than a spin-heavy one. Reviewers praise its control, comfortable feel, and quick swings, while the fiberglass face and 10mm build provide enough pop for drives and attacking shots. The 8-ounce weight also suits players who want to swing aggressively without a heavier paddle feeling cumbersome.

It makes sense for soft hands at the kitchen, steady resets, and quick volleys. The longer shape supports reach, but the paddle is not the best choice if generating heavy spin is your main goal. Some players also report vibration on harder hits, despite the generally comfortable feel.
