Overview
This paddle combines a 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core with a raw T700 carbon fiber face. Konvoi adds EVA foam around the core and edge in its thermoformed construction. Reviewers describe the build as an all-round Gen 3 option aimed at control, spin, and precision.
At 7.9 ounces, it sits in a moderate weight range rather than an ultralight one. The 16.4-inch elongated shape adds reach, while the 7.44-inch width gives up some face area compared with wider shapes. The 5.25-inch handle also leaves room for a two-handed backhand.
Play style
The Fleet 1.0 fits players who want reach for returns and extra leverage on drives. Its raw carbon face and textured surface are positioned for spin, while the 16mm core and foam construction are intended to keep the response controlled and consistent.
Its elongated shape can help with baseline coverage and attacking shots, but it may feel less forgiving on quick kitchen exchanges than a wider paddle. Choose it if you value reach and spin over maximum maneuverability in tight hands battles.
Best for
- Players wanting more reach on serves, returns, and baseline shots
- Two-handed backhand players who prefer a longer handle
- Players upgrading to a thermoformed paddle for added power and a larger sweet spot
- Players who want raw carbon for spin and a controlled response
Look elsewhere if
- Players who prioritize the quickest possible hand speed at the kitchen
- Players who prefer a widebody paddle with more room off-center
- Players seeking an especially light paddle
- Players who want a short handle for a one-handed grip
