Paddletek Bantam EXL-C

The EXL-C pairs a 12.7 mm polymer honeycomb core with Toray T700 unidirectional raw carbon fiber. Its listed weight is 7.8 to 7.9 ounces, with a 15.9-inch length and 7.9-inch width. That combination keeps it relatively light while giving you a longer shape for extra reach.

The carbon face is designed to grip the ball for topspin, slice, and controlled dinks. The polymer core supports a responsive feel, while the cushioned perforated contour grip should help with comfort during longer sessions. Reviewers describe the paddle as combining power, control, spin, and a flexible feel, though forgiveness opinions differ: one retailer rates it moderate, while the brand highlights a larger sweet spot.

Choose this paddle if you like creating pressure with spinny drives, quick exchanges, and attacking shots from the baseline. Its lighter weight can make fast swings and hand battles easier than a heavier paddle, while the carbon face supports ball grip for topspin and slice.

It also fits players who want enough touch for dinks and placement instead of pure power. The 12.7 mm core and high pop rating suggest a lively response, but the moderate control rating means it may not suit someone seeking a muted, control-first feel. Players who regularly miss the center should check the forgiveness tradeoff before buying.
