Selkirk Sport Atlas

The Atlas pairs a raw carbon fiber face with a polymer honeycomb core. Its 8.11-ounce weight gives it a stable, midweight feel without making it especially demanding to maneuver. Reviewers describe the paddle as balanced, forgiving, and more controlled than basic entry-level paddles.

The elongated shape measures 16.4 inches long and 7.4 inches wide. That profile gives you extra reach, while the narrower face offers less surface area than a wider paddle. The 4.85-inch grip length and 4.25-inch circumference suit players who prefer a compact, comfortable handle. The paddle is USA Pickleball approved.

This paddle leans toward control rather than maximum power. The polymer core and balanced weight support steadier resets, placement, and softer shots at the kitchen. The raw carbon face also gives you useful spin for serves, rolls, and controlled attacks.

The elongated face and extra reach help on baseline drives and stretched-out returns. The tradeoff is a narrower hitting area than a widebody paddle, so players who want the largest possible sweet spot may prefer a different shape. Reviewers generally find enough pop for normal drives, but the all-rounder response may feel too mild for players chasing maximum power.
