Volair CTRL 2 Forza

The 8.1-ounce paddle uses a 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core and an aramid fiber face. Its 15.88-inch length and 8.12-inch width create a widebody shape with a larger hitting area. Reviews describe the paddle as forgiving, stable, and easy to control, while the 16mm construction helps soften impact and off-center contact.

The moderate weight should remain manageable during quick exchanges, and the widebody profile favors forgiveness over extra reach. Its 5.5-inch handle gives you room for a two-handed backhand or grip changes. Reviewers disagree somewhat on spin and power: some report strong spin and control, while another assessment places both closer to average.

This paddle fits a soft, placement-focused game. The thick core and aramid face are repeatedly associated with controlled touch, resets, and forgiving contact at the kitchen. The widebody shape also gives you a larger target when dinking or defending quick exchanges.

You can still drive and roll the ball, but this is not the obvious choice for maximum pace from the baseline. Players on Reddit are not cited here, and the available reviews do not establish unusually high power. Choose it if consistency, soft hands, and manageable swing speed matter more than overpowering opponents.
